Areas we cover across Manchester

Fourteen areas across north Manchester, the city centre and Salford — with instructors who know the local roads and the test routes that go with them.

Where we teach

Local instructors, local knowledge

Knowing an area properly matters more than most learners expect. The roundabout that catches people out, the junction with poor visibility, the route your examiner is likely to take — that is the difference between passing and coming back.

Cheetham Hill

Our busiest area. Instructors who know every junction on Bury Old Road and Cheetham Hill Road.

Manchester City Centre

Busy-city tuition — bus lanes, one-way systems, tram crossings and multi-storey parking.

Salford

Lessons around Salford Crescent, the Quays and the surrounding residential streets.

Prestwich

Quieter residential roads for beginners, with Bury New Road for building confidence.

Crumpsall

Ideal starting area — wide side streets close to North Manchester General.

Blackley

Rochdale Road practice plus the estates around Victoria Avenue.

Moston

Roundabouts, hills and box junctions used regularly on local test routes.

Harpurhey

Practical everyday driving around Rochdale Road and the district centre.

Collyhurst

Close to the city with a good mix of quiet streets and heavier traffic.

Miles Platting

Oldham Road, Varley Street and the routes towards the city.

Ancoats

Tight city streets, cycle lanes and on-road parking practice.

Newton Heath

Established residential area with plenty of manoeuvre practice space.

Broughton

Great Cheetham Street and the Salford border routes.

Strangeways

Commercial roads, HGV traffic and busy junction work.

Available everywhere we cover

Every course, in every area

Wherever you are on the list above, you can book any of these.

Not on the list?

We probably still cover you

The fourteen areas above are where we always have instructors available. Our coverage does not stop neatly at those boundaries — plenty of our students live in the streets in between.

Send us your postcode on WhatsApp and we will tell you honestly whether we have someone near you and roughly how soon they could start. If we cannot help, we will say so rather than putting you on a waiting list indefinitely.

Door-to-door as standard

  • Picked up from home, work or college
  • Dropped back afterwards
  • No lesson time lost travelling to a meeting point
  • Practice on the roads you will actually drive on
  • Test route familiarisation near your test centre
